Flight
Newark Airport
For those flying in, there are tons of airports around, but the easiest to fly into is Newark Airport. From there, it is an hour-ish drive down to the Jersey Shore. Uber and Lyft are available! There is also an NJ Transit line available from the airport to Long Branch. This may be a bit more cost efficient, but does take a bit of extra time. Train
NJ Transit
You can take the NJ Transit directly from the airport down the shore. It will terminate at Long Branch, but you can transfer to another train to get you further down (aka to Belmar). The trip planner tool is incredible helpful!
