Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered right here on Zola. It’s easier and convenient for everyone attending the bridal shower. The registry will be available when the bridal shower invitations are mailed.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to our ceremony being held at the Tioga Downs Golf Club, we are providing transportation to and from that location. We ask that you arrive in front of the Tioga Downs Hotel no later than 2:45pm. From there a bus will pick you up and transport you over the the Golf Club. Don’t worry about getting over there too early as there is a bar you can grab a drink at and enjoy the amazing view before the ceremony starts. You will not be outside waiting so don’t worry about sitting in the weather. The ceremony will be taking place indoors.

Is there a dress code?

It is a formal attire. Every once in a while it’s fun to dress up!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless stated on your invitation “Plus One” or “Children”, we ask that you please assume no then. As much as we would love to celebrate our big day with everyone, it is impossible to do so. It is also a served dinner so it is an approximate number.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course!! Please do not hesitate when it comes to your eating preferences. We do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable due to our selection of meals. Just note it on the RSVP cards and we will gladly make other arrangements.

If I plan to stay the weekend, what else is there to do?

Answer

Well since it is a casino, people over the age 21 are able to enjoy the casino. There is live music Friday and Saturday nights at midnight in the casino area. On Friday night, there is horse racing. There is also a pool!

What should I do in the time between the ceremony and the cocktail hour?

Answer

Since we need to transport everyone back from the Golf Club, where the ceremony is, back over the the Resort, we needed ample time to make sure everyone gets back in time for the cocktail hour. If you happen to be one of the first guests to get back, you will have some time on your hands before the cocktail hour. Luckily this can give you time if you choose to go up to your hotel room and freshen up or even play some slots in the casino! There are bars located throughout the casino if you choose to get the party started and grab a drink! Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 on the Rooftop Terrace!

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We understand that you are just as excited for the big day as we are, and you probably want to capture every moment of it! However we have decided to have an unplugged ceremony! We want everyone to just enjoy the moment and to be present with us.

Question

What will happen to hotel reservation for the original wedding?

Answer

Since our decision to postpone due to COVID-19, we have been in contact with the hotel to decide on how to handle the already booked reservations. We decided it would be easier to just cancel all reservations and just start from fresh for the new wedding date. Your card will not be charged since it will be cancelled. If, by some chance your card it charged (mistakes happen), just call the hotel and explain that you were with the Cantale/Knapp wedding that was postponed.
