We met at Target, both as employees. We both told our friends about the crushes we had on one another, but it hadn't occurred to us that we should probably tell each. Finally, I took the first step and messaged him to say hello. As it turns out, Target wasn't the only thing we had in common.

It was Christmas Eve and his first holiday dinner with my family. After dinner was over, he told me he wanted to take me away so that we could have a moment to ourselves. There was a lit up gazebo near the train tracks by his house that we walked up to and talked for a little while. With tears of happiness and many smiles, we left the gazebo as a newly engaged couple.
