We're Getting Married!

Although Scotlan and I had known each other all through middle and high school, our relationship didn't begin until after graduation, the summer of 2017. We never associated with the same friend group, but one night he asked me to hang out with him. We rode around the whole night talking about everything under the sun. We were inseparable from that day on and spent the whole summer falling in love with each other. We have had our ups and downs but we are prepared to take on anything that comes our way as one. We now have a precious little boy together and are so excited to get married in January!!

It was January of 2018 when I found out I was pregnant with baby Robertson. This was when Scotlan and I knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. On January 25th, 2019 Scotlan proposed to me. We decided this special date was the perfect day for our ceremony. We can't wait until we finally tie the knot!!

My water broke at 2:12 A.M. on September 22, 2018. Scotlan gently carried me to the car before waking up MiMi and Bubba to let them know we were heading to the hospital. We were both so excited yet nervous at the same time! Scotlan held my hand and coached me through every contraction. He constantly assured me that everything was going to be okay. By the afternoon, we had our sweet, most precious baby boy, William Powell Robertson! Three days later when it was time for us to go home, Scotlan opened the car door for me as we prepared to leave the hospital. He told me how much he loved me and that he wanted to marry me!! Those feelings have only gotten stronger since that day!
