Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you know! Our deadline so we can communicate and finalize with our vendors is March 26, 2025. We love hearing from you but please make sure to RSVP on the website so we can keep track of everything (and your meal preference) in one place!

Question

What if I'm having trouble RSVPing on the website?

Answer

Enter your first name to search for your name. You may need to try variations (full v. nickname - check the invitation envelope). You'll be able to respond for other guests invited in your party including children and plus ones.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please see the Schedule page for information on the weekend's events including a welcome event on Friday and a brunch on Sunday!

Question

Answer

We've got you covered! See the Travel and Things to Do in Minneapolis pages for our best recommendations.

Question

What is the typical weather like in Minneapolis in late April?

Answer

Weather can still be quite unpredictable in late April with the possibility of rain, light snow, or even warm with the sun out. Average daytime temperatures range from the mid-40s to mid-50s Fahrenheit (7-13°C), though it can occasionally be warmer or cooler. Nighttime temperatures often dip into the 30s Fahrenheit (1-4°C). Late April can bring rain showers, with the chance of occasional snow showers. Bringing layers and shoes including for precipitation (rain or possibly snow) will be helpful. Please note the wedding and reception will be indoors with close, on-site parking.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is ample, on-site parking at Urban Daisy, the wedding and reception venue, located at 1621 E Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55414

Question

Does the wedding venue have an elevator or ramp accessible entrance?

Answer

There is an elevator and available ramp to enter the wedding venue! Please let us know if this would be helpful for you so we can make sure to provide instructions.

Question

Will there be a place for my coat/umbrella/things at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a self-serve coat rack and room at the venue. Please feel free to leave your outer layers of clothing there.

Question

Will the bar be hosted?

Answer

We will host a selected menu of cocktails/mocktails, champagne, wine, beer, plus juice boxes for kiddos at the bar throughout the evening. We will have water, tea, and coffee. If you like to drink beyond this menu, please bring your wallet.

Question

Is there childcare or another room my kids can go to?

Answer

Yes, we will have childcare provided by a licensed provider (also a pediatric speech therapist) from 7-11 pm (dinner onwards) and access to a room for kids. She will have activities and a separate space for the kdis just off the ceremony/dinner room at the venue.

Question

What should I know about taking and sharing wedding photos?

Answer

We ask that guests NOT photograph the ceremony itself for several reasons. 1) We trust our incredible, professional photographers to capture the moment and 2) we want our loved ones to stay in the moment and celebrate with us. We would LOVE guests to share photos from the rest of the wedding festivities and weekend through our Wedibox (photo-sharing service). Our Wedibox link will be made available via QR code and URL to guests at the wedding. You will be able to upload photos and videos. Please note: all wedding guests will be able to find and download photos uploaded.

Question

How do I record a message for the audio-guest book?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our next chapter together and share that with you—the people we love. We’re putting together an audio keepsake that contains stories, memories, toasts and tributes to celebrate and we want to hear from you. You can share your wishes or advice for our marriage, a favorite story or memory, a date night idea, a recipe, or anything else you want. We will have a special phone available during our reception where you can record messages. If you can't attend the wedding, would like more privacy, or want to leave us multiple recordings, you can call now on your own phone. The line will be open from now until a few days after the wedding. Remember to say who you are. You can take as much time as you want, and you can call as often as you want. Thank you so much for being an important part of our lives. To leave a message now: Dial 1-800-437-3009. Enter 93601 when prompted. You'll hear a message from LifeOnRecord, our greeting, and then you'll be able to record your message for us. If you are outside of the US, you can also send us an audio recording via Google Drive or WhatsApp that we can add to the audio guest book!.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your love, blessings, and warm wishes for our future together is all the gift we hope for! We sincerely appreciate all the love and time you have spent reading this (and if you are able to travel for our wedding, we are honored to celebrate in-person with you). However, if you would still like to give us a gift, please note that we have decided not to create a registry. Because we have created a home together already, and expect to move across the country very soon, we already have all that we need (and care to haul). If you'd still like to give a gift, we have set up our website to accept gifts. Any funds we receive will go towards our honeymoon or to kickstart our first-house fund!
