Question

Where should I park?

Answer

*There will be NO parking available at the venue. The venue is a beach house on Wrightsville Beach with very limited paid street parking, in which we cannot reserve. If you opt to pay & park on the street, please know that you may end up walking a good distance & risk missing the ceremony. Guests will not be allowed to enter post 6:20PM. Therefore, we highly recommend you Uber/ Lyft to the ceremony/reception. We will be providing you with a Uber voucher to be used post ceremony as our ‘Thank You’ & to ensure everyone makes it home safely.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at between 5:45pm-6:15pm (please do not arrive sooner than 5:45). Our formal ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm and we want you to be able to grab a drink/take a seat without rushing. Guest will not be permitted to enter the venue post 6:20PM so please do plan transportation accordingly. Thank you for understanding.

Can my children come?

Answer

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate all children at our reception. If your child(ren) we’re not listed on the invitation, we hope you will use the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail, causal or semi-formal; wear anything that makes you comfortable. There is no mandated color scheme which you need to follow.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a pre-ceremony cocktail available for you to sip on while all guest arrive. Feel free to take your drink to your seat. We will then have beer, wine and champagne available at the bar throughout the reception. The drinks are on us but our bartenders will accept tips. * Non-alcoholic options include: water, iced tea (served with dinner) & soda.

What kind of food will there be?

Answer

We have ordered from a local catering company: “Middle of the Island”. You should expect delicious southern style food (fried chicken, Mac-n-cheese, Green beans, Squash casserole, etc…)

Do I get a “plus one”?

Answer

While we would love to invite everyone, due to location we are keeping the reception small. No additional ‘plus one’s’ will be provided. Only individuals whom are listed on the invitation should attend. We thank you in advance for understanding.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

Wrightsville Beach has a noise ordinance which goes into effect promptly at 10PM. For this reason, our formal reception will conclude at 10:00PM & we ask that everyone depart from the venue then. However, the Party can continue to the local beach bars down the road should anyone wish; this can be TBD.

Can I bring my own liquor?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any outside drinks on property. The ceremony/ reception will be strictly: pre-ceremony cocktail, beer, wine & Champagne. Liquor drinks can be consumed at the local beach bars post wedding. Thanks in advance!

TO PARENTS WITH CHILDREN:

Answer

The pool on site will NOT be covered. It will be located close to the dance floor so we ask that you keep a very close eye on your children should they attend the reception.

Will the music be censored?

Answer

Our professional DJ has a bar background. With this being said, we anticipate the music choices (during the dancing portion of the night) to be reflective of a club environment. While some music will be censored, we cannot guarantee ALL songs will be censored.
