Nate likes to say, "we found love in a hopeless place” (credit Rihanna). We met in jail, as coworkers. We were both juvenile detention officers in Seattle. We met, became friends, then started dating.

We went snowshoeing on this hike we both had been on a couple times before. At the top you can see Mt Rainier, Mt Adams, and Mt St Helens. Our good friend took our picture at the top, then Nate got down on one knee.
