We Decided On Forever

We met at a sports bar called Ozzie’s in Fresno, Ca! It was my best friends 22nd birthday so we were out celebrating! Me and my best friend were making our way to the bathroom when she spotted Jessob at the end of the bar. They knew each other through sports as my best feiend( Blakely) played basketball at Fresno state. Jessob was the sports anchor for KMPH at the time so he would go to the girls basketball practices to get footage for his show. They started talking and I was just standing there listening. The conversation slowly started turning towards me and we got to talking. We exchanged phones numbers and got to know each other a bit before deciding to hang out. I met him at his apartment and had the funnest time doing absolutely nothing. I remember laughing every other word he said. After that, we were inseparable and the rest is history! Over the course of the almost 7 years we have been together we welcomed 2 amazing little boys!

It was our first born sons 5th birthday! We had a fun day of donuts, presents, family, pizza, and Chuck E. Cheese. We came home and were cleaning up the house when Jessob says, loudly for me to hear. “Jensen, I think there is one more present for you.” I was silently listening, thinking um I don’t remember us getting him anything else! Jessob came down the stairs with a pretty size box wrapped in polka dot wrapping. At this moment I kind of thought this could be the moment, but after seeing the size box I quickly brushed that thought aside. Jessob says, “this present is actually for mom!” Again, I was thinking what is going on?! Me and the kids opened this box and when I opened it there was nothing in it aside from the space where what looked like a ring box should be. Confused, I look over to my right to look at Jessob and he was down on one knee, tears streaming from his face. I immediately starting crying and we both had no words. He presented me with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen and asked me to be his wife. Which of course I said, “it’s about damn time!” The best part besides that special moment was my mom( my best friend) was in town from California to witness the whole thing! Jessob had planned the whole thing months before! So happy she was there to witness our moment! It was absokutely the most perfect proposal in every way!
