It was another day of high school, and another day of Bre skipping her boring classes to go to her favorite class of all time, Media Tech. Bre sat down at her assigned computer to finish editing a video project that would be presented at the next pep rally. All while minding her own business, she was rudely interrupted by a voice next to her who said, "Are you the one who makes those really crappy videos for the pep rallies?". With her jaw on the ground, she responds, "Who the hell are you?". They hit it off right away with their similar sense of humor! Bre and Jacoup sparked a friendship almost instantaneously and after only a couple of weeks of meeting, they became inseparable.

It was the first day of Bre and Jacoup's holiday break from school and work. Bre was excited to go on her winter vacation with Jacoup and friends just before traveling home for the holidays, but she was running about an hour late and was in a not-so-great mood about it. Jacoup reassured her that the trip would be fun and there was no need to stress over being late (little did she know that he was the one who was stressed). They arrived in Ruidoso, New Mexico about an hour late. Bre wanted to change her outfit and freshen up, and Jacoup played it cool to not seem suspicious. Bre hated her outfit, she changes again... and again. Jacoup was pacing back and forth in panic by this time. Finally, Jacoup convinced Bre that she looked great and they just needed to head out because her friends were waiting on them. They made it to the Inn of The Mountain Gods and Jacoup leads Bre to the back of the hotel where her friends said they'd be. Bre definitely needed a drink by this time because she was getting cold and impatient. Jacoup grabbed her hand because he just wanted to get the dang thing over with (LOL). Finally, they walk down to the bottom of the staircase and Bre sees a group of "random people" holding up signs that read "Will you marry me?". She cries, "Is that for me?" and Jacoup responds, "Yes". Then come the real tears. He got down on one knee and popped the question. "YEEEESSS!!!" she said. Then in a flash, the "random people" holding the signs are revealed! Bre and Jacoup's families drop the signs and surprise the bride-to-be. It was truly an unforgettable moment that the couple will always remember!
