We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Jacob and Kayla met in San Antonio, Texas where they went to A school for the Navy. A few weeks into training Kayla spotted Jacob walking through the school and thought he was handsome but there was no way she would see him again. A few days later they both attended the Final Four game. As her and her friends were documenting this experience through snapchat and Instagram, here comes Jacob and his friends. Jacob sat right next to Kayla. she turned to her friends and whispered that that was the guy she saw the other day and thought he was cute. she then gets a pep talk from the girls to strike up a convo, and as she turns to him he gets up and walks away. this wasnt the last time they saw eachother. a few more days go by and Kayla was talking to some friends and out of no where Jacob walks up and says Hi to Alvidrez(a mutual friend) and strikes up conversation with Kayla. Jacob leaves and tells Alvidrez that she thinks he's really cute and he should put in a good word for her. the next day he tells Kayla that Jacob is also interested and wants to add her on snapchat. as soon as they become friends they talk and plan to go on a date that weekend. Kayla had just picked orders to Okinawa and thought that they would just end up being friends. little did she know, Jacob also picked Okinawa. That weekend came and they hit it off.

Jacob and Kayla went to Colorado for Sara, Jacobs sisters wedding. Jacob showed Kayla around Colorado and every cute picture esque spot they stopped at Kayla thought OMG he's going to ask me. She has a suspicion that he would ask her while they were in Colorado because it was perfect time, and the conversation had been brought up. On June 20, 2019 they both wake up early to take a drive up to the Rocky Mountains and later have a picnic. Kayla is distracted by the beautiful views and is also freezing her California butt off. After stopping at every turn out and going all they way up to 13,000 feet above sea level, they decide to find a nice spot to eat by the lake. It starts to rain as they take a walk by the water and as it stops they sit on a bench and admire the view and the rainbow peaking through the clouds. Jacob asks Kayla to stand up and caught off guard she says why. They hug and he tells her how much he loves her and he has a question for her.... He gets down on one knee and as Kayla stands there deer in the head lights she says what are you doing I'm going to push you in the lake. He proposes and obviously she says YES! It was perfect, and intimate. Now the two would love to share the bond they have with each of you at their wedding ceremony.
