IS THIS REAL LIFE!?

After a year of a lot of isolation and change, we both stepped out of our comfort zones and joined a little Christian dating app called Upward at the beginning of the year! On February 15th, 2021 we matched on there :) After a few messages back and forth for a couple of days, we exchanged numbers and planned our first date for February 23rd, 2021 at Northern Taphouse for appetizers. A few days later we started our long-distance relationship as Jacob moved up north to Osage, MN! We kept our hearts and minds open to whatever God wanted to do in our relationship from the start, and He moved in so many ways! After countless Facetime's & thousands of miles driven later, Jacob proposed on August 27th, 2021! It's been so sweet to see the Lord move in our dating relationship and the ways He has grown our dependence on Him in the difficult moments of being away from each other for long periods of time. We know He will continue to mold & shape us in this season of engagement, and even more so in our marriage! We are so excited!
