Jacob and I met when I was in the 7th grade and he was a sophomore in high school. Kinda. To say the least, we knew of each other (I was absolutely infatuated with him while he simply knew my name). I remember the first time I saw him: I walked into the cafeteria at church camp and saw him sitting there, and knew I was going to marry him. Sounds crazy but its true! So for about 5 years I tried to work up the nerve to talk to him (Jacob may call it stalking, but don't listen to him), only having small talk conversations, and after five long years he got the hint and took me out on a date. Patience is key, my friends. Through the five years of waiting, praying, and having intense boy talks with my friends, I know it was meant to be that we got together later in life, because we simply would not be together if it had gone the way my seventh grade self wished it would have. After all, though, my young dreams are coming true!!
Kaylie and I met at church camp. I knew she liked me from the beginning, before we even met because of the way she looked at me. Even though she denies it, she stalked me for five years and did not say a word to me in real life. She was just a good friend to me, and I thought she was weird and funny. But, as time went on, I realized that she was still talking to me after all of these years, when most people had stopped. At first I thought that was weird, but I decidied to give her a shot, and the rest was history. NEWS FLASH! We are getting married now!
