A quick coffee date turned into an extended hangout after we snuck into a luxury apartment complex nearby (we were not tenants) and commandeered their billiards room. After hours of playing pool, drawn out by laughter, banter, and our inability to sink balls, the walls of our hearts proved soft and permeable much like the security of Via 6 Apartments. - Daniel
We'd been living together for over a year and had gotten pretty "comfortable" -- so much so that I had no qualms opening packages addressed to Daniel. After doing this once and ruining a little piece of the proposal surprise (sorry, Daniel!), we dedicated a corner of our place to "boxes that Jaclyn can't look inside." Two months of me avoiding that corner ensued, until one day, I came back after work and found that he had spent the day setting up a surprise proposal in our living room, complete with a jar filled with all of our memories together. -Jaclyn
