Jared and I overlapped in our graduate program at CSUDH in Long Beach, CA. His friend group took me in and we connected instantly. After a few pitchers of beer and rounds of pool at mugshots, we started to hang out outside of the bar. The rest just happened!

September 2018

How we met

On our 5 year anniversary trip, we booked a romantic sunset cruise around the Long Beach marina. The captain said “we’ll stop halfway through and get some good golden hour pictures” and after the pictures, Jared got down on one knee. Of course I said yes!!
