Breanna and Aaron met in the Spring of 2012 at Eastern Michigan. They initially met when a mutual friend brought Aaron to Breanna's dorm room. It was not love at first sight. Breanna thought that Aaron was a jerk, and Aaron thought that Breanna was the meanest girls he ever met. It wasn't until later on that Fall that Breanna and Aaron really began to get to know each other. On Breanna's birthday, Aaron spotted her walking from class and knew right then and there he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He asked to take her out on a date and she agreed. But let's just say their first date wasn't the best. After a year of praying, texting and charm Breanna and Aaron finally became a couple. Now six years later, the couple are on their journey to becoming the Jacksons!

After graduating from Eastern Michigan in 2016 Aaron returned to Cleveland to pursue his Master's degree. Initially Breanna was suppose to follow Aaron to Cleveland but decided to stay in Michigan to continue her career as a social worker. For the past 3 years they have been in a long distance relationship. 173 miles apart they still found a way to make their love stronger than ever through God's grace.

For their 4th anniversary, Aaron convinced Breanna that they should participate in a photoshoot on their special day. They got dressed up and met a photographer in Downtown Detroit, where they began taking what Breanna thought were "anniversary pictures". Breanna had been asking Aaron about the photographer capturing some pictures at the Detroit Institute of Art (DIA), but Aaron refused multiple times because of time. During the shoot Aaron suggested to the photographer what Breanna had been begging to do and to her surprise he agreed. As they arrived to the DIA, what Breanna did not know was that Aaron had their family and closest friends waiting for them to witness his prospoal. When Breanna finally realized why everyone was at their "anniversary photoshoot" she became overwhelmed with emotion. Aaron expressed his love for her, dropped to one knee and asked Breanna to marry him. She was so shocked she barely spoke, but eventually she said "YES!!!!!". September 2, will always be one of Breanna and Aaron's most cherished memories!
