In the winter of 2019, Jackson and Melghi coincidentally found themselves in Chicago for a two-week company onboarding. Amidst the polar vortex, they navigated their new careers, focusing on training sessions and team-building exercises. However, something more significant was unfolding. It was during that first week, as temperatures reached historical lows, that Jackson struck up a flirty conversation with Melghi. There was something about her bright smile and kind eyes that drew him in. Melghi took a playful jab at Jackson’s South Carolina Gamecocks, and before long, they were lost in their own little world, giggling and chatting like old friends.
