Question

Will there be a reception?

Answer

No! The couple will NOT be having a formal wedding reception after the ceremony. Once the ceremony has ended, there will be cupcakes and a cake cutting by the bride and groom. Everyone is welcomed to stay and mingle. Please do not let this keep you from coming! The couple hopes to see everyone’s gorgeous faces on their big day.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2pm sharp. The couple asks that everyone is settled in their seats by that time, so please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before 2pm. There will be a tight schedule that the bride and groom must stick to because of the photography!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Although the Bride and Groom appreciate your enthusiasm for their marriage, they have asked that all phones and cameras be turned OFF during the ceremony. The couple has hired a wonderful photographer to capture the day and can guarantee that there will be plenty of pictures shared via social media and through text.

Question

How will we get photos if there is no reception?

Answer

The Bride and Groom of course want pictures with everyone, not just family! After the ceremony is over, there will be a free time where you can mingle with the newlyweds and they’ll be happy to take pictures with you. The couple promises that if you want photos with them, they will absolutely make that happen! Please be patient and bare with them, there will be a lot of people waiting to talk to them. If you can hang around and wait, the Bride and Groom would love to see you!

Question

How do I find the house?

Answer

Once you’ve typed the address into your GPS, it will take you straight to the location of the wedding. The road is incredibly curvy and one-lane so please be careful and drive slow. There will be a gate and a bridge at the end of the driveway, as well as a sign marker to let you know that you’re at the correct location. The GPS will say Springfield, but it is right on the line between Marion County and Washington County.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

The wedding will be located at a house with a blacktopped driveway. There will be cars parked when you arrive and we ask that you follow the driveway and park behind the first car you see.

Question

I can’t walk very far?

Answer

If the parking has gotten to the end of the driveway by the time you arrive and you are unable to walk the distance, we will have someone with a golf cart available to take anyone up the driveway. The driveway is steep and very long, please don’t attempt it if you feel you can’t. Leave a comment in the RSVP section if you need assistance with walking!

Question

I’m family, what time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are someone that will be in the family photos with the Bride & Groom, they will reach out to you and let you know how early you need to arrive.

For all the days along the way
