It was a Love Story written in the stars from day one.

They started talking due to their shared interest of writing. Tiffany took the initiative in asking if she could message Hunter. From that moment on, they shared about all their desires and fears, hopes, and dreams. They talked every day and haven’t stopped since January 21st, 2020. From day one, they shared a common dream date idea: a lightsaber battle!

One month after starting to talk, they had begun to build a friendship on Jesus, dad jokes, and a shared love of science fiction. It was time for them to meet. Hunter made the trek to Savannah meet her in person. For Tiffany, she describes the experience of meeting and hugging him for the first time as "coming home". They both felt comfortable around each other and shared an incredible time in Savannah. At the end of that wonderful visit, plans were made for her to visit Montgomery next time. But then Coronavirus.

Hunter planned to tell her how he felt on Saturday, March 21st at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in his home city and ask her to be his girlfriend, but with quarantine, he had to adapt. He decided to not let the virus stop him. On March 29th, he set up his camera equipment, got in a video chat with Tiffany, and told her how he felt about her and how much she means to him. Stating that he loved that their relationship was centered on Christ and how he loved all the shared interests, he declared his love for her and asked if she wanted to be his girlfriend. She said yes!

They long-distance dated for a few months and then on June 4th of that same year, Hunter came to pick up Tiffany to move her to Montgomery. On that cloudy, humid afternoon, they shared their first kiss. The opportunity to be closer to each other gave them a chance to date in person and get to know one another on a deeper, more personal level.

Fast forward to their plans for that lightsaber battle from day one. Each weekend they planned it, something came up. But finally, the day after their 10 month anniversary, they went to ASF and battled with toy lightsabers. He said he had a surprise and gifted them both with real lightsabers. They fought and as she struck his leg, he got down on both knees and she asked for his last words. He said “I love you” and pulled out the ring and proposed. Of course, she said Yes! Thus, begins their adventure to infinity and beyond!
