Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony Parking is complimentary at St. Matthews Church. Reception Parking is available in City of Norfolk Public Parking Garages - we recommend you park in Main Street or Waterside Parking Garage. Both will have direct access to The Slover Library and offers hourly/daily rates.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

St. Matthews Church is located approximately 25mins from Downtown Norfolk, a short drive or Uber away. We highly encourage car pooling.

Are guests allowed to take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are thrilled to be sharing such a special moment with our friends and family, but we invite guests to remain fully present during the ceremony. We kindly ask that all phones be silenced or turned off. There will be numerous opportunities for pictures and videos after the ceremony and during the reception.

Will you be taking song requests during the reception?

Answer

To assist with the flow of the night’s events, our DJ will not be taking song requests during the reception. We ask that all guests provide their song requests when you RSVP or contact Jackie or Manny privately.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know in advance if you have a food allergy. Our reception dinner is buffet style and offers a variety of options for everyone!
