Jackie n Davina happened to be at the same club in the castro in San francisco Ca. "The Cafe" Davina was working and jackie was out with some friends. They had a mutual friend by the name of Arlene who was there that night and davina had seen jackie walking the club and made a comment to arlene. Arlene happened to know Jackie and introduced them both . That night Davina was playing hard to get lol however after that day the 2 were pretty much inseparable since then .

Jackie had planned a date night with Davina and took her to a Movie and Lunch. They went to one of their favorite restaurants Scott's Seafood on the River . Jackie was extremely nervous at lunch and surprisingly Davina had no idea ( as she is hard to surprise) . Davina had just finished talking to Jackie about her proposal timeline running out since it was already over 10 years of being together lol. Upon conclusion of their lunch Davin dashed out an opposite door from Jackie in a rush to beat her to the truck when she heard Jackie scream " Davina .. !, Can't you ever wait for me?! " as Davina walked back towards jackie's she grabbed her hand and headed down the stairs that sat on the river front. As they began to walk down Jackie proposed Davina looked up to see all her kids and grandchildren standing with peak coats as they opened their coats and their shirts said " will you marry me?", Davina's youngest grandson Santana rushed up the stairs with a shirt that said yes or no? It was the perfect proposal!
