Dan and Jackie met through their mutual friend Nick. She was in Seattle visiting her college friend when Dan and her initially met over breakfast. During that weekend, she helped him remove the security tag on his suit (that the employees did not take off themselves) and he helped her get a ticket to the holiday party. They shared the dance floor, laughed over drinks and enjoyed each other’s company on the ride home. Throughout the holiday party and weekend festivities, they knew there was a connection. They had only known each other for a few days when Dan offered to drive her to the airport but they decided to see where things might lead, despite their long distance (opposite sides of the country). Little did they know that was the start of something special.
