The Santa Fe Farmers' Market happens every Saturday from 8a to 1p in the Railyard. There is fresh produce, but also crafts, processed and dried foods to take home and an art/flea market next door. Also, downtown Santa Fe, including the plaza and Canyon Road, is worth a stroll.
If you're looking for a walk in town, we'd suggest the La Tierra Trails, the Dale Ball Trails and Sun Mountain. If you'd like to head up the mountain, Borrego-Bear Wallow is a great loop in the forest. If you'd like a bit of an adventure, head out to Nambe Badlands, a 30 minute drive north of Santa Fe. All of these trails are on the website AllTrails. If you're traveling with kids, check out the playground at the Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary. If you'd like suggestions on bigger day-long adventures, let us know!
For coffee, we'd suggest the Betterday or Sky Coffee. For breakfast, head to the Betterday, Cafe Pasqual's, Tune Up or Counter Culture. For lunch or dinner, our favorites are Fire and Hops, Paper Dosa, Tune Up, Jambo Cafe, Paloma, Izanami and Bang Bite at Santa Fe Brewing.
Santa Fe has MANY museums. We'd suggest the Museum of International Folk Art and the New Mexico History Museum.
