We're Getting Married!

Jackie and Nick both grew up in Naperville, IL but attended different high schools. They were first introduced to each other through mutual friends in 2010 at a party. There was an immediate connection! They poked fun at their high school rivalry and they talked about their love for Jimmy John’s subs. But after the party, they didn’t keep in touch, and both went back to being rebellious teens at different schools. Fast-forward to January 2017. Nick got a seemingly random friend request on Facebook from Jackie. They began to exchange messages, and soon realized they had met back in high school! It didn’t take long for the pair to hit it off again – and soon enough, Nick asked Jackie out on a first date. In an attempt to impress, Jackie arrived for their first date with a plate of homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cookies for Nick… and let’s just say it was love at first BITE! They’ve been inseparable since!

One of their favorite places to go together is the Morton Arboretum, a beautiful public garden in Lisle, IL. To celebrate 'National Girlfriend's Day,' Nick took Jackie on a date to the Arboretum. As they stopped to admire Jackie's favorite tree, Nick got down on one knee and proposed with a beautiful family ring. Of course, Jackie excitedly cried out YES!
