This is where Bob popped the question! A 10 min. walk from the hotel. Always great food in the oldest continuously running hotel in DC. Order a doughnut if you go for brunch.

Tabard Inn Restaurant

We love the zoo and live right next to it. Bring comfortable footwear as it's a hill. Free to enter, but book tickets. A 7 minute drive from the hotel.

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

If you are walking around the Dupont Circle neighborhood, don't miss the Barbie pond. It always makes us smile! An 8 minute walk from the hotel.

Barbie Pond on Avenue Q

The White House is a great starting point for a stroll around the National Mall. A 25 minute walk or 7 minute ride from the hotel.
