Every good love story starts at a bar, right? Jack and Delaney met on February 22nd, 2017 at Brother's Pub after attending the Screaming Headbuzz event on Cecil Bay. After a few weeks of hanging out in Bonduel and Stevens Point, Jack asked Delaney to be his girlfriend on the night of March 24th.

On December 12th, 2020, Jack and Delaney went Christmas tree shopping with Delaney's parents. We opted to walk to the tree's instead of riding the tractor (which Tom was not impressed with the idea of). After a brief walk, we found a row that looked promising.. Tom jokingly laid on the ground very dramatically pretending to be exhausted after the walk. Deb quickly scolded him as she noticed other people walking up behind them. Little did we know, those people were Chris and Jerry. Jack and Delaney continued on until they found a tree they both liked. Jack stood there awkwardly as Delaney questioned him as to why he hadn't started cutting the tree down. She started walking back towards her parents until Jack stopped her. He looked around and got down on his knee.. Nervously he grabbed the ring out his pocket and opened the box. Unable to make out the words, he finally said "what do you say?". To which Delaney replied, "well you have to actually ask!". Chris and Jerry had been hiding in the trees a few rows over, and when Chris heard that she popped out and started snapping pictures. And of course, Delaney said yes. It took Tom and Deb a few minutes to realize what had happened and the photo of the moment they realized is priceless.
