Evansville IN airport is the closet airport from West Salem and Mt. Carmel. It’s not a big airport but is close. Most people will typically fly into St. Louis, Louisville, or Indianapolis and then drive the rest of the way. Evansville is about 1.5 hours from West Salem and 45 minutes from Mt. Carmel.

Louisville is located in northern Kentucky. Louisville’s airport is bigger than Evansville’s. Typically people from out of town will fly into Louisville, St. Louis, or Indianapolis airport and drive the rest of the way. Louisville is located 2.5 hours from West Salem and about 2 hours from Mt. Carmel. NOTE: Louisville and West Salem are on different time zones. Louisville is an hour ahead.
