True Love

We first met at Shiloh Community Church after Jacen’s mother Lori invited us to attend together! Lilia knew Lori from Choices pregnancy center where they both volunteered and later in Shiloh’s widows group as they had both lost their husbands in the prior year. As we prayerfully asked God to guide our new friendship, we discovered that we have many common likes and interests and share a deep love for Jesus Christ our Lord. It wasn’t long before we fell in love and began sending daily love notes and messages to each other to express our feelings and thankfulness to God for all the good things that we enjoy. Having spent a beautiful evening at a restaurant overlooking the entire downtown of the city of Phoenix, Jacen proposed on his late father’s birthday. He spread rose petals at a waterfall junction of the Salt River Project, and we danced long into the night! It was an event that we both cherish. Truly, we thank God that he is able to bring two families together in such a joyful and comforting way. We invite you to share in our gratitude and rejoicing for our wedding!
