Carey Institute for Global Good 63 Huyck Rd, Rensselaerville, NY 12147, USA 518-797-5100 https://careyinstitute.org/ IF YOU ARE USING A GPS SYSTEM, put in “100 Pond Hill Road, Rensselaerville, NY 12147” -- We highly recommend printing out directions to and from Carey Institute. If you lose service, it will be difficult to regain your GPS/directions. Service is very limited around the area. The Carey Institute for Global Good is 28 miles southwest of Albany, New York, in the rolling and forested Helderberg Hills. Framed by the Catskill and Berkshire Mountains, the campus is 1800 feet above sea level and overlooks the tiny Dutch-settled community of Rensselaerville.

Travel Note

How to get there...

Albany is accessible by air, rail and bus. If you fly in and out of Albany, you will select the Albany County Airport. The Greyhound and Trailways terminal is located in downtown Albany, and Amtrak has rail service to Hudson, Schenectady and Albany/Rensselaer (NOT Rensselaerville) - all about 30 miles from the Carey Institute for Global Good. There is no regularly scheduled public transportation from any of these terminals to Rensselaerville. The Carey Institute can arrange for this service if needed, but arrangements must be made in advance of your arrival. Contact the Carey Institute as soon as possible for information. Rental car, taxi and limousine service is available at the airport to points in the Greater Albany area. Other options: Fly into NYC or Boston, rent a car and drive. It is about a 2 and a half hour drive from both Boston and NYC.
