Travel Note
Albany is accessible by air, rail and bus. If you fly in and out of Albany, you will select the Albany County Airport. The Greyhound and Trailways terminal is located in downtown Albany, and Amtrak has rail service to Hudson, Schenectady and Albany/Rensselaer (NOT Rensselaerville) - all about 30 miles from the Carey Institute for Global Good. There is no regularly scheduled public transportation from any of these terminals to Rensselaerville. The Carey Institute can arrange for this service if needed, but arrangements must be made in advance of your arrival. Contact the Carey Institute as soon as possible for information. Rental car, taxi and limousine service is available at the airport to points in the Greater Albany area. Other options: Fly into NYC or Boston, rent a car and drive. It is about a 2 and a half hour drive from both Boston and NYC.
