Take a casual hike around this rock structure during the day( located 10 miles west of denver) And/or come back in the evening for a show at one of the coolest venues in the world!! The tickets might be kind of pricey but they are definitely worth the outdoor amphitheater views, including the Denver skyline!
40 mile beautiful scenic route starting and ending in Golden,CO. The Lariat Loop Scenic and Historic Byway begins in Golden, CO, at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 19th Street. Head southwest on 19th Street to Lookout Mountain Road. Continue south on Lookout Mountain Road to US 40. Head west on US 40 to I-70 then continue west on I-70 to Evergreen Parkway and southeast to Bear Creek Road. Drive east to Mt. Vernon Avenue in Morrison, CO. Once in Morrison, head north on Mt. Vernon Avenue and continue as the road changes to County Road 93/Hog Back Road. Continue north to US 40. Keep going north to Heritage Road and take that north to US 6. Continue on US 6 back into Golden, CO, to complete the Lariat Loop.
Best sunsets in Denver! You can see mountains upon mountains of Colorado’s Front Range. Take a picnic dinner and pull off at one of the many picnic areas along Daniels Park Road. There are several hiking options as well! AND... Bison Viewing – The Bison can be found in an enclosed pasture on both sides of the road.However, the Bison are usually found grazing in the section of the park that is directly across the street from the shelter house.
