Wedding Party

Meet some of the incredible people we have in our lives! We are so proud to call them ours. We love them...like...A LOT...and we think you will too.

Amanda Baca (She/Her)

Brides person

Hi! I’m Amanda! Olivia and I met in college. Our then boyfriends and now husband and soon-to-be-husband were friends and roommates and connected us to be the same! And the rest is history! Livv and I share a passion for nursing, belly laughs, and good food. You can usually find us on the Seasons rooftop, plant shopping, or in her living room having wine and dessert! Olivia is one of my dearest friends and she and Lawrence are so perfectly shaped for one another. I am so dang excited to see her and Lawrence FINALLY tie the knot.

Ashley Palmer (She/Her)

Brides person

I am Ashley, old college roommate and current friend of our sweet Olivia. I went to nursing school at UNM, where I meet a few of the amazing women in this group. My husband and I moved to Colorado for a few years but recently returned to our home state of New Mexico. I am a nurse, a caretaker, a wife, a friend, occasionally a yogi, and often drinking wine on Olivia’s couch. My family consist of my husband, Devon, my sister, Alyssa, and our cat, Lavender. We enjoy hiking, travel, fitness, reading, and tv shows about survival. Much like our cat, I enjoy long naps in the sun, good snuggles, and plenty of food. I am exited to be apart of Olivia and Lawrence’s journey and hope to shine my light upon all the moments they choose to share with me.

Gabrielle Goeckner (She/Her)

Brides person

Hey there! I’m Gabrielle and I am so excited to be part of Olivia and Lawrence’s big day. I met Olivia in 2015 and quickly became attached to her loving and uplifting energy and down to earth personality. She has been my best friend ever since we had our first wine night with our friend Ashley (also in the wedding party) where we laughed, cried, snuggled and shared our life stories. We later became roommates for a year and that was one of the best seasons of my life. I was lucky enough to witness Olivia’s journey through nursing school while simultaneously building a lifelong friendship that means so much to me. From late night parties and chats, to making macaroni and cheese at 2am, to having cute roomie breakfast dates, to going on runs around north campus, to studying nursing concepts, to helping her foster (many) animals, to learning how to (properly) smoke cigars, and everything in between. During this time I was lucky enough to witness Lawrence and Olivia’s relationship and also become friends with Lawrence and his close circle too. Many years have gone by in the blink of an eye, but their love is as strong as ever. Watching them both grow through many seasons of life and still remain in love has been so wonderful to witness, and I cannot wait for their wedding day!

Melanie Lynn (She/Her)

Brides person

I'm Melanie! I had the good fortune to meet Olivia in nursing school and was right away delighted and inspired by her sweet and magical way of being in this world. I now reside in Olympia Washington with my beloved cat, sister Sabrina, and close friend Claire. I work with a lovely team of nurses on the labor and delivery unit of a local hospital. I feel very grateful for this awesome job but have a secret preference for days off which I use to read, hike, swim, cook, dance, do acrobatics, and spend time with my lovely partner and friends. I feel so honored to participate in this very special event and in the lives of these two incredible people!

Juniper Frankel (She/Her)

Brides person

I travel as much as I can and love to talk to all kinds of people all the time. I find that being with people from all over the world teaches and holds the most sacred and beautiful truths for me. Olivia is my fairy goddess child and I have had the good fortune of bearing witness and being part of her life for some years now. My life is enriched by having her in it. Lawrence and Olivia are a powerful and loving match together and seeing their unity has been an inspiration for me. I look forward to meeting everyone and sharing in this special endeavor together.

Abigail Lanin Eaves (She/Her)

Brides person

I am the Executive Director and founder of Dar a Luz and this is where I met sweet Olivia! She wrote a most beautiful and heart-centered cover letter when she applied and I knew right away, out of 7 or 8 candidates, that she was the one. There was never a question in my mind. What I didn't realize though, was that we would become very close friends, connected by love, laughter, vulnerability and the overwhelming desire to be the best humans that we could ever be. She has come on great adventures with me over the past couple of years and has opened her heart in a way that has shown me how deep and important our friendships are and how the human need to connect knows no bounds. I am one of the oldest of the brides-people, by a couple of decades, and I was truly flattered that Olivia chose me as one of her special people on her special day. And what makes it even better is my connection and love for her partner too. Lolo and I have had the opportunity to spend time together on some of these adventures and I have had the opportunity to see and get to know his kindness, generosity and giant heart. I have gotten to know this sweet couple in such a beautiful and heart-forward way and it warms my soul to know that they have found each other in a sea of many other humans. I am so excited to be a part of this union and see this couple grow. I am honored to be here. Thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Erica Deerinwater (She/Her)

Brides person

I met Olivia when she began working at Dar a Luz, but once we connected, it was revealed that our bond was deeper than merely our time spent together. While many, many, (oh so many) years separate us, our ages don't limit our direct link to each other. Olivia has inspired and lovingly shown me a level of safety and honesty I have only experienced with a handful of people in my life. I couldn't be more proud to stand with her and Lawrence as they take these next steps in their lives and connection.

Mauricio Herrera (He/Him)

Brides person

I'm Olivia's little brother! As the younger sibling, I've spent the past 24 years of her life copying her, annoying her, and relying on her to show me how to be the best person I can be. Olivia has helped me find my love for learning, personal growth, and openness to new experiences. She is truly one of the most influential people in my life. I am eternally grateful for her and Lawrence's mentorship, and I am unbelievably excited to see their continued growth as a married(!!!) couple.

Ana Rael (She/Her)

Brides person

I am thrilled about this wedding. I am the groom's younger sister/good friend to the bride/best friends with the bride's brother (because that's how it goes in a place as small as abq). I currently live in California and am so excited to gather with friends and family in NM to honor Lawrence and Liv!

Leo Benna Rael (They/She)

Brides person

I am a junior at the New Mexico School for the Arts. I am Lawrence’s youngest sibling and I have known Olivia since I was about 6 years old.

Axiao Daniels (He/Him)

Grooms person

Hey! I'm Axiao. I was born and raised in Albuquerque and now own and operate a cannabis farm with John Hood (another grooms person). I have been friends with Lawrence and Liv since high school. No need to thank me, but, I was the guy who snuck Lawrence out to hang out with Olivia for the very first time...you’re welcome world!

Matt Feddersen (He/Him)

Grooms person

I was born and raised in Albuquerque. I have shared many memories with Lawrence and Liv, as well as most the people in front of you today. Some of my favorite memories come from Lawrence's birthday always landing on spring break.

Matt Sanchez (He/Him)

Grooms person

I was born and raised in Albuquerque and currently work for Sandia Labs. I am also Lawrence’s cousin but you would think that we are brothers. Ask me about a childhood story where I once witnessed the groom get spanked on the side of the road after putting a whole packet a big league chew in his mouth.

John Hood (He/Him)

Grooms person

I grew up all over the world and moved to Albuquerque in 2009. I have worked in the cannabis space for the past 9 years and I am Axiao's (also a grooms person!) business partner.

Jacob Nunez (He/Him)

Grooms person

My name is Jacob Nunez and I’m a pilot with a passion for creativity and gaming. While my memory is fuzzy on an exact date, I remember meeting Lawrence as early as the first or second grade. I met Olivia around the time her and Lawrence had just started getting to know one another. It has been an honor to see these two grow together from day one. To be quite honest, there hasn’t been a day where I don’t think of these two and hope for the absolute best for them. I am so honored to be a part of Lawrence and Olivia’s special day and can’t lie that I have been waiting for this day for an extremely long time.

Andrew Zampini (He/Him)

Grooms person

Roston Shore (He/Him)

Grooms person

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and currently work as an Assistant Director for UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business. I have been blessed to call Lawrence and Olivia friends for the past few years. When Lawrence and I met (in person) for the first time this past year at Roston's wedding, they almost needed multiple people to pry their hug apart

Nathan Schroeder (He/Him)

Grooms person

I am a mechanical engineer and I connect with Lawrence in our pent up nerd energy. I met Lawrence & Olivia during sophomore year at UNM when I kept inviting them to listen to music in the back of my suburban… not creepy at all. We became friends hiking, camping, and feeding birds together. I wish all the best to the bride and groom, and while I do not condone Lawrence’s use of the phrase “but I digress”, I hope their lives together are composed of a tapestry of beautiful digressions.

Elliott McCreary Novak(He/Him)

Grooms person

I was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico. I am a preschool teacher at All Angels Episcopal Day school, and have known Lawrence since kindergarten, and Liv since high school. I am so grateful to have these two wonderful people in my life. I love you both!

Foti Pasquales (He/Him)

Grooms person

I am forever grateful for this beautiful couple! Not only do they make each other glow, but also those lucky enough to be surrounded by their adoring personalities. From Lawrence allowing me to work alongside him at Miox to Liv writing me a good luck letter right before taking the biggest test of my life, I am so happy these two kindhearted individuals are tying the knot! College wouldn’t have been the same without you both, and I am so excited for all the laughs and wild adventures to continue. Cheers to Liv and Lolo!
