Getting to/from the Isis Farmhouse

A boat will take guests down the river from the ceremony to the Isis Farmhouse for the reception. The boat will leave from Folly Bridge, which is a 10-minute walk from Oxford Town Hall, and drop us off at the Isis. The venue is on the towpath so unfortunately can't be accessed by car. If you prefer not to get the boat, taxis can be ordered to Mill Lane in Iffley, which is a 5-minute walk from the venue. Please let us know if you have any mobility issues that might make this walk difficult and we will help to arrange something. You can also walk down the towpath to the venue (c. 30 mins from Folly Bridge). Let us know if you prefer this option so that we know how many will be on the boat. Taxis can be ordered to Mill Lane for pick up at the end of the night. You can also walk back along the towpath to the centre of town (it will be dark!), or get off the towpath at Donnington Bridge and head back up the Abingdon or Iffley Road.

Where to stay

There are lots of places to stay in and around Oxford. For a short(-ish) walk from the Isis, we recommend looking in Iffley or New Hinksey (some ideas below), but most places in the centre of Oxford should be within 10-15 minute taxi journey.
