Getting around by trains and subways ...

The Glasgow subway system is pretty amazing for getting around both the city centre and the west end as it is conveniently in the shape of a big circle (a complete circuit actually takes 24 minutes!). Glasgow has two mainline train stations - Queen Street north of George Square and east of North Hanover Street and Glasgow Central.
