Although we knew of each other in high school, we didn't get to know each other until a few years post college. In just our first time hanging out, things heated up rather quickly. Isaiah's air conditioning had gone out in the middle of an Arizona summer. Next to the scolding temperatures that day, I'll always remember how he never let me win a game of UNO or allowed my water to get low. We began dating just three days later and have been pretty inseparable since!

I pride myself in introducing Cassie to the world of "fine dining". With that being said, I had promised to treat her to a nice dinner on her visit to Houston in May. We got dressed up and met our driver that evening. What Cassie didn't know was that she was going to have to get comfortable in the backseat, and I in the back stall of a Chevron bathroom. This was the only way of stalling for the photographer that would be the least suspicious. Eventually, we pulled up to the venue where I asked her to marry me. In case you were wondering, we did make it to our dinner reservation... with something extra to celebrate.
