We kindly ask our guests to wear dressy casual attire. For women, this could be a sundress, and for men, jeans with a collared shirt. Since both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible. After the ceremony, guests are welcome to change into more relaxed clothing if they’d like. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

For lunch and dinner, you can choose to cook at the campsite or eat at one of the restaurants in Kings Canyon or Sequoia National Park. The weather can be unpredictable and may change quickly, so we can't say for certain what to expect. We recommend checking the forecast before packing for the trip.
We recommend bringing a sleeping bag or warm blankets, as nights can get chilly. For added comfort, a sleeping pad or inflatable mattress is a great option. Don’t forget pillows, a flashlight, and toiletries! Restrooms and showers are available at the campsite. Please bring your own tent—if you don’t have one, let us know, and we’ll provide one. Since we have a limited number of tents allowed on-site, we kindly ask guests to consider sharing with family or significant others.
Transportation will be provided throughout the weekend, but you’re also welcome to drive your own vehicle if you prefer. There will be three designated parking spots near the campsites. However, If you choose to bring your own car, you may have to park in the free overflow parking that is available just three minutes away near the ranger station.
Yes, Kings Canyon is home to black bears, but don’t worry! We’ll be taking all necessary precautions to keep both us and the bears safe. This includes storing all food and anything with a scent—such as perfume, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, etc.—in the bear boxes provided at the campsites. Storing these items in your car is not an option, as bears have an incredibly strong sense of smell and can detect them. To avoid attracting bears to our vehicles, please use the bear boxes. We will also carry bear spray for added safety. While bears may sound intimidating, they are not likely to harm us. Just remember: don't feed or disturb the bears. If one comes nearby, make loud noises, and it will usually walk away.
We’ve chosen not to have a registry. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you—your love and support mean more to us than anything!
