Answer

The deadline for RSVP has been extended until Wednesday, May 26th. Please reply by the new deadline so we can have an accurate headcount.

COVID-19 Considerations

Answer

As we continue to adapt to the uncertainty of COVID-19, we are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests. At this point, we have been advised that safety measures have been implemented and our celebration will move forward. We are working diligently with our wedding venue, our preferred hotel, and our vendors to ensure a safe day for all our guests. Please RSVP by Wednesday, May 26 and book your accommodations based on the timeline outlined on the wedding invitation. In addition, please check our website regularly for any possible updates and contact us directly with any questions. - We are currently keeping track of every guest's vaccination status. - We will be conducting temperature checks at the entrance of the venue. - We will provide disposable masks, hand sanitizer wipes, and social distancing bracelets for those who so desire. - The venue has multiple hand sanitizer stations. Servers will wear masks and gloves at all times.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

We are working with the venue to ensure everyone’s safety. The following measures will be included: - temperature checks at arrival - outdoor spaces for the ceremony and cocktail hour - sanitizing stations and disposable hand sanitizer wipes - social distancing wristbands (i.e., red – celebrating from afar; yellow – comfortable around others, but no touching; green – fully comfortable around others) - extra care for food and beverage service (all staff will wear masks and gloves at all times; all food and drinks will be served by the venue staff) ** PLEASE PLAN TO BRING A FACE MASK/COVERING WITH YOU FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION. Masks will be provided for those who may not have their own. Given some of our close family members are elderly and/or immunocompromised, we would greatly appreciate it if you could please do one or more of the following: - get vaccinated (if possible) - get tested 2-3 days before the wedding - quarantine for 7-10 days before the day of the wedding

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 5 pm so we can begin on time.

Self-addressed stamped envelopes have been provided to return the RSVP.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Formal/Black-Tie Optional Attire - Men: dark suit and tie - Women: floor-length gown, fancy cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit ** no black tie required although always welcome :-)

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved hotel rooms at Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton. Please visit the Travel page on the wedding website for more information. ** Easiest way to make the reservation is to click on the link that is available on the Travel page for each of the hotels. ** You can also call the number provided, listen to the entire message, and let the operator answer at the end. This way, you are connected directly to the local hotel and not the central offices. ** If you dial 1 for reservations, you will be automatically connected to the central number and they don't always seem to have accurate information.

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not have a shuttle service. However, Uber and Lyft as well as taxi services are available in the Lehigh Valley. We would recommend Uber ($22-25 each way) and Lyft ($21-23 each way) as the best options given taxi services can be quite expensive.

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the wedding venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Each invitation is addressed to the guests who have been invited. Due to COVID-19, there are headcount restrictions at the wedding venue so it is especially important to keep your party limited to those specified on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we love children, given the limited capacity of the wedding venue and COVID restrictions, we would greatly appreciate it if only guests whose name is on the invitation are in attendance.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. However, a backup plan is in place in case of inclement weather.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

There will be a cocktail reception and plated dinner with vegetarian and vegan options. Please review the RSVP card for plated dinner choices as these will need to be provided by May 26, 2021.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Answer

There will be vegetarian and vegan food options. Please note any food allergies on the RSVP card.

Reception will end at 11 pm.
