In true millennial fashion, Ian and I first met on the dating app Bumble! After "matching" in December 2016, law school finals and a busy holiday schedule got in the way of a first date. Luckily we matched again in April 2017, chatted over beers and pasta shortly thereafter, and the rest is history!

Ian and I headed up to his family cabin to spend some time over the Fourth of July weekend. As the sun began to set over the motionless lake, Ian thought it would be the perfect time for a jet ski ride - I obliged. We stopped in at the sand bar after a quick cruise, and Ian asked me if I'd like a beverage from the front console. I quickly realized there was no beverage as he got down on one knee, ring in hand.
