What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive no later than 4:30pm for the ceremony, as the ceremony will start promptly at 4:45pm. We are very excited to share this special moment with you and would love to have you all seated, comfortable, and ready to experience it with us.

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Black-Tie Optional/Formal Dress Code, please! What this means: For the men: While a tuxedo isn't required, one can still be worn if preferred- and if you know Daniel, you will know dressing 'up' is always encouraged! A suit and tie, however, is completely acceptable. For the women: You can pretty much 'do you'! A floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit are all acceptable options. We just want to get fancy with you all, because if not now-- when?!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Who do you think we are, Al Roker? All kidding aside, it's too early to tell, but right now it's looking like it should be partly cloudy/sunny on our big day. Should this change we have contingency plans in place to make sure everyone's comfortable, but stay tuned to your weather app to make sure you're prepared for anything that comes our way!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors (assuming it's the beautiful, sunny day we're dreaming of, otherwise it will all be indoors). The reception will take place on an open-air roof top that will be covered by a gorgeous tent

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, there is parking at this venue, but this will be at your own expense. The London West Hollywood has a $20 event valet fee and $60 overnight fee. Please consider this when making decisions about whether to ride share or drive.

Please RSVP by clicking the tab that says RSVP on this website! Make sure to add your email address so you can stay up to date on any of the information related to the wedding, including our requests for menu preferences, which should be coming closer to the day itself!

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event (i.e. COVID-19, etc.)?
Answer
We live in a world full of health and safety issues these days, but The London West Hollywood is an amazing venue that has promised to handle our event with the upmost consideration and care to keep us all safe and healthy. While we hope that COVID won't be an imminent concern at our wedding, we have attempted to create a COVID-safe plan for our wedding. This includes hosting our ceremony and reception in open-air venues, limiting our guest list, setting up sanitizing stations around the venue, and serving individually plated meals and hors d'oeuvres. That being said, we respectfully request that everyone attending our celebration be considerate of us and our guests with respect to monitoring their health before the wedding and if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within two weeks of our wedding, to please stay home.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
While we love all of your adorable children, "Dr. Shannon" is really hoping to take a night off from her work with the little ones... and we'd love to be able to party with you all in an adult-only environment. We know it's a lot to hire a babysitter and have a night away, but we appreciate it and hopefully you will too!

Have you booked hotel blocks for guests?
Answer
Yes! We have rooms available at the venue at the London West Hollywood, and have secured room blocks at two other local hotels: Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel and Kimpton Everly Hotel Please see the "Travel" tab for more information about rooms/rates/and how to reserve your hotel for the evening

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?
Answer
We will not be doing a rehearsal dinner, or a hosted goodbye brunch, but if you are staying at The London Hotel, there will be a free breakfast that comes with your room, and we are planning to be there in the morning for brunch. If you're not staying, you're welcome to come back and join us for breakfast if you'd like, though, as mentioned, this is not a hosted event.

All information, changes, or updates to the event will be made through this website, so please make sure you include your email address to be updated about anything that you need to know before the big day!

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
Answer
The reception will end at 11pm, and we do not have an official after party plan yet, but come check with us day of if you want to keep the party going and we can see what we're going to do!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Answer
We encourage use of phones to take photos and videos during the ceremony and reception! It's going to be heartwarming and FUN!
