We're getting Married!

We met working together. If you ask Robert he would say that Erica asked him out every week for a year but if you want to know the real story then reverse that. Finally, Rob finally got Erica to say yes to their first date (he caught her way off guard). He showed up for that date on a motorcycle and made her go change for the bike. Obviously, that date went well and they lived happily ever after.

This story starts out sad. We were at Robert's dad's memorial weekend in Alberququre which turned into the largest reunion of Griffin's in 20 years or so. Robert's Aunt Cathlene cleaned out grandma Griffin's house and brought a bunch of things for the kids to sort through. Later when I was unpacking (yes I pack and unpack Robert's stuff for trips) and found a gold wedding band in his glasses case. I thought he took our friends ring (we were staying at her house, Hi Julie!!) and started to get upset just as Robert walked into the house. He told me that the ring was is great grandmothers ring and that Aunt Cathlene gave it to him to give to me. ahhhhhh!! That is the cutest thing I have ever heard!! I have never inherited anything so this is the sweetest!! So, we are getting married on the date that Robert's great grandparents got married and the date that is engraved on the ring from the year 1911!! Crazy. This is the reason that I have been planning this wedding before I got my engagement ring. I got to take my time finding my sapphire and design my most perfectest ring!! (yes, I spelled that wrong) We wouldn't have it any other way!
