Question
Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
Our venue is The Barns at Wesleyan Hills, 616 Long Hill Road, Middletown, CT. See the Schedule tab for more information on the wedding events/locations and the Travel tab for more information on our hotel blocks and recommended airports.
Question
Is there a shuttle to the venue?
Answer
Yes! Shuttles will run from each of the hotels in our hotel block (listed on the Travel tab) to the venue and back. See the Travel tab for the shuttle schedule. Shuttle will leave the Inn at Middletown at 3:30pm. Shuttle will leave the Courtyard Marriott at 3:15pm. Shuttle will leave the Fairfield Inn at 3:25pm. Shuttles will return to all hotels following the reception at 10pm. Shuttles will go from the after party at the Inn at Middletown to the Courtyard Marriott and Fairfield Inn at 12:30am and 1:30am.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! However, we encourage anyone who is planning to drink to take one of the shuttles that we provide - safety first! :)

What's the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail attire (knee-length, midi, or floor length dresses, jumpsuits, suits + tie). Dress in fun, summer colors to match the time of year! The ceremony will take place outside on the grass, and we want everyone to spend as much time as possible on the dance floor - so, heels not required :)

What's the address and dress code for welcome drinks?
Answer
Welcome drinks will take place at Esca Wine Bar, 437 Main Street, Middletown, CT. It is a 10-minute walk from the Inn at Middletown hotel. We'll have a beer and wine open bar from 8-10pm! Attire is smart casual - dress like you would to a nice restaurant (e.g., sundresses, khakis + polos, jumpsuits, skirt + top, etc).

Do I get a plus one?
Answer
Those who are invited are listed directly on your invitation. Unfortunately if someone is not listed on your invitation, then we won't be able to accommodate them.

Our wedding will be adults only. We love all of your kiddos though and appreciate your understanding!

Will there be meal options for my dietary restrictions?
Answer
Of course! Please let us know when you RSVP about any dietary restrictions so we can ensure they'll be accommodated.

Who are Inky and Smoky???
Answer
Inky and Smoky are our two cats! We adopted Inky in July of 2022 at 3 months old, and Smoky in December of 2023 at 9 months old. We're obsessed in case you couldn't tell!
