How do we get there?

Answer

You can fly into Dublin, Shannon, or Belfast! Dublin has the most flight options typically. Donegal town is about ~3 hours (drive) from Dublin, ~3 hours (drive) from Shannon, and ~2 hours from Belfast. While renting a car is typically the fastest route from the airport to town, there is a bus that goes directly from Dublin airport to Donegal town. There is also a train to Sligo, which is about 50 minutes from Donegal town.

Where should we stay?

We have hotel blocks at Harvey's Point, Abbey Hotel, and The Gateway Lodge. There are also a ton of great Airbnbs in the area. Please refer to the "Where to Stay" tab for more information on booking.

When should we get there?

Answer

We will have a lowkey welcome get together on Wednesday, 8/27. If you can't make it to town by then PLEASE don't worry at all! The main event will kick off around 3pm on 8/28. We will also be hosting a "Day 2" in town on 8/29. We hope to see you there!

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your children, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden formal! Ladies, please wear midi or long gowns. Bright color is welcome! Gents, please wear a suit and tie.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will provide transporation from the diamond (town) prior to the start of the wedding. Details to come!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
