Our love story started unexpectedly, but right when it was suppose to happen. Our paths crossed at a Fourth of July cookout in 2016. We didn’t really talk or even slightly interact. But, as fate would have it, a friend accidentally exchanged our contact information with each of us. First, we texted then came the phone calls. Our conversations were great and sparked a friendship that later led to us, well, becoming inseparable. If you saw one of us, the other surely was somewhere nearby. Call it insecurity or hang ups to romance, we both were afraid to take our friendship to the next step. Ultimately and thankfully love won. We knew that we wanted to be together. We began officially dating on our first baecation to St. John, Virgin Islands. Like most new couples, we faced some odds. But through it all, our relationship continued to grow strong. The promise of everlasting love, patience and understanding, walking through life leaning against one another so neither falls, anchor us. We know we can’t do this thing called life without one another.
