What is the dress code?
Answer
Welcome Party - Casual - the welcome party will be outside on grass so feel free to be a bit more casual such as a sundress, khaki pants or shorts, a button down or nice top, etc. Wedding Ceremony & Reception - Semi-formal - we ask that you wear semi-formal attire for the wedding ceremony & reception such as a cocktail length dress, dressy separates, jumpsuits, suit & tie, etc.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. There are a number of great babysitter options in the Bar Harbor area, that can be found via Care.com if your kids will be making the trip with you.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
All wedding festivities will be held at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and we have a room block available for your convenience. For more information, as well as other suggestions, please see the Travel section of the website. August in Bar Harbor, ME is a busy time for the area, so make sure you book accommodations in advance!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
As all the wedding festivities are being held at the main hotel, there will not be provided transportation from other hotels in the area. There are a number of different options for transportation in the Bar Harbor area including the Island Explorer, a free bus service operated in the Bar Harbor and Acadia area, which has a stop at the Atlantic Oceanside (on the Eden St line). Check out their website, https://www.exploreacadia.com/index.html, for more information. Be sure to check when the bus stops running as they do not run all night.

Yes, we are registered at a few different places.
