Jacob and I first met in 2009 our freshman year in high school because of mutual friends. We didn't start talking till Homecoming 2010 and started officially dating May 20, 2011. We went to Rabbit Fest, both of us went on the Ferris wheel where he asked me out! We did almost 4 years long distance after graduating high school, while I took off to college. Now we are engaged and ready to get hitched!

Jacob and I went to a local food truck event in our town and were standing in line when Jacob just asked “what if we got married on May 20, 2020?” I asked him if he was being serious he said yeah. Ultimately we decided to wait till 2021 to plan more. Though it wasn’t a traditional proposal where he got on one knee or an actual “will you marry me?” it was still a special moment! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in May 2021!
