My sister, I'm blessed to call you my sister and my best friend. My sister has loved me unconditionally and stood by my side through thick and thin. She has shared my joys and sorrows, my laughter and my tears and she has been my inspiration as we have laughed and played together and then growing up to stand by me through a good stormy weather. God has given me something more than just a family. It has placed an extraordinary love for my sister deep down in my heart and being so grateful for her existence why not have her by my side as I take my next big step in life?!

My best friend Shannon! Shannon and I met in high school. We were in the same class. She was always the one making everyone laugh and I was the one just sitting there, too quiet to say something. Once we started talking and became friends, we were inseparable. During our four years in high school, we went through ups and downs, teenage heartbreaks and became mothers to children we raised together as siblings. We both have been by each other side, even more so during some really hard times such as when we both lost our brothers. She is the one person I can count on for a lifetime, the one person who knows me sometimes better than I know myself. She is the same person who's been standing by my side all throughout my life. So why not have her by my side during this new chapter in my life? She's the one that always keeps it real. She will tell me when I'm right or wrong and have an unbiased opinion. She always has my back and I know she will fight anyone who will do me wrong. (Including my husband!) She sure has earned her place as Maid of Honor and I can't wait to celebrate my big day with her standing next to me.
