When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 mins before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of COVID-19, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to call or text us with any questions.

Are kids welcome?

Please ask the bride and groom.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Please check out the menu on our website. We tried to choose menu options that could accommodate everyone.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there's plenty of parking at the venue. There will be a parking attendant present.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. We suggest using an Uber, rental car or carpooling if you don't have a ride.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner for the wedding party will be on Thursday, March 11th. Please RSVP if you are part of the wedding party.

What will the weather be like this time of year in Virginia?

Answer

March is the beginning of Spring. Daytime temperatures can range from low 50s to low 60s. Nighttime temperatures can range from mid-30s to mid-40s. Winter-like weather can still occur in March. We will have the option of having the ceremony indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head straight to the reception hall for cocktail hour.

Is there a gift registry?

Yes, there is a registry tab on the website.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please do not take any centerpieces or decorations home. Some decorations could be rentals that we have to return.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media. Don't forget to use our wedding hashtag #idowithaugustine so we can keep track of all of your pictures

We request that you enjoy the special moment with us. We've hired a professional photographer and videographer and we promise we will share the moments of the big day with you.

As of now, yes, unless you're eating, drinking, or taking photos.
