Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are black-tie optional. We invite our guests to wear suits and ties, long gowns or cocktail dresses. No jeans please.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking on-site at our venue. We encourage our guests to use the Buda hotel shuttle, designated drivers and rideshare services, such as Uber or Lyft.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, we will provide a shuttle from the hotel block at Hampton Inn in Buda. This will depart to the ceremony at 4:15pm on Saturday. Look for the red, white and blue bus! Later in the evening, the shuttle will provide two options for rides back to the hotel. We also encourage our guests to use designated drivers or Uber and Lyft as method of transportation to and from our wedding. However, being in the hill country there can be a scarcity of rideshare drivers nearby. If using Uber or Lyft, we HIGHLY recommend pre-scheduling your ride home through the app. Most drivers will be coming from Austin-proper, so it takes them a bit of time to commute to the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend guests to arrive at Stonehouse Villa around 5pm, 30 minutes prior to the start of our ceremony. This will give you enough time to sign our guest book and find your seat without feeling too rushed!

Will you be having an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

YES! We kindly ask that that you turn off and put away your cellphone and any other electronic devices during the ceremony. Our extremely talented photographer will be sure to capture every special moment and we’ll be happy to share the photos with you later on. The greatest gift you could give us on our big day is to truly be present with us!

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to allow every guest a plus one. Please refer to your invitation or the RSVP tab here on our wedding website for the exact number of seats we were able to reserve for you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We would be happy to have your little ones join our celebration. We will be providing Whataburger for the kids' dinner. If your children will be accompanying you, please be sure to indicate on your RSVP whether they prefer a burger or chicken tenders for their meal.
