Hotel recommendations: AC Hotel Dayton, Marriott University of Dayton, Holliday Inn Express- University of Dayton.  There are no hotels within walking distance, but plenty of options within the downtown/ University of Dayton area that are within a 10-15 minute Uber/Lyft ride. Please plan responsibly and arrange transportation if you plan on taking advantage of the open bar!
