DRIVING: Rome is a 4 hour drive from Greenville, SC, and Ashville, NC. It is a 5 hour drive from Charlotte, NC.
FLYING: Birmingham, AL (BHM) is a 2 hour drive from Rome, GA. As a smaller airport it is often easier to use than Atlanta. Note that BHM is in Central Time Zone and Rome is in Eastern Time Zone.
Atlanta (ATL) is a large hub serving many airlines. It is a 1 hour drive to Rome, but traffic can sometimes make this longer.
We recommend you rent a car rather than attempt to Uber. Plus, with a set of wheels, you can explore Berry College campus! It is the largest college campus in the world and every acre is absolutely gorgeous.
