Cultural Traditions

See below for some cultural traditions that will take place at our wedding. We encourage all to learn and participate freely

La Vibora de la Mar (sea snake) is a dance where guests hold hands in a circle around the couple. The dancers will duck under a “bridge” formed by the bride and groom while trying to knock them down.

El Baile de billete (Dollar Bill dance): A Mexican tradition in weddings where the couple gets dollars taped to them when guests go dance with them.(Foreign currency and Sacagawea dollars encouraged)

El Caballo Dorado . A line dance that's a must at every Mexican party. It will happen at some point in the night. See the tutorial above to learn the steps. We hope you'll join us on the dance floor!
