We love your kids—we really do. But our wedding will not be particularly child friendly and we want our wedding to be your night off! Please arrange to leave the kiddos home for the evening.
The invitation is for whoever it is addressed to. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, you may bring a date, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
For ladies: Cocktail dresses or a nice pantsuit will be best. No need for full formal attire. For gentlemen: Suits or sport coats are both appropriate. Please no jeans, tshirts or other casual wear (although a pair of flats for dancing might be a good idea) Also, we will be outdoors in a grassy area so please consider this while choosing your footwear.
